I was "planning" on FINALLY buying a crimson DS Lite soon (i just didn't feel like buying a lite when they came out), but when i heard about the new DS i decided to not buy a Lite. Who cares if doesnt have the GBA slot, i rarely use it. only problem with DSi is that comes in 2 colors again *sigh* i wanted my old red DS to evolve to red DS Lite, but now i want a red DSi

Taking out the GBA slot was stupid, just like when the original DS couldn't play GBC games. I'll put up with it being a 1/4 of a centimeter thicker if it will just have the stupid slot. But it still has a lot of nice features, so still I might get it.

I agree, I bought the latest PSP, I think 2000, and I barely use it anymore, I beat all the games. 3000 is coming in october. Anyway, I have the 2004 ds, so I'm getting the DSi since I gave my old one to my bro. Plus I hear nintendo is making a new wii version in 2010. Better save up.

since theres no slot 2 for gba think about it its better now u dont have to have an expansion pack for gba roms on r4 and u can probaly just put gba roms on the sd it comes with as for giutar hero just use the buttion hack cheat!

It's definitely a step-up from the DS-Lite but I think it's a bit too early for a new DS. I still love my DS-Lite.
