Love sweet potato.... My best friend has a famous sweet potato desert and it's basically the same but she boils not roast the potatoes and instead of rum she puts vanilla. yummy , I will try this roasting one but not in the shells beacause I will rip them for sure and prefer the contrast on a white dish.

Um, at first i thought the cook was crazy sticking aluminum foil into a microwave- i was so expecting sparks to be zapping away in there. Very amazing thing that the appliance acts as both a microwave and convection oven. Very awesome indeed.... i think i may try this one, but instead of putting the mixture back into the skins maybe in a casserole pan.

Very nice. I think I might try this one for the Thanks Giving holiday.

The oven is both a microwave and a conventional oven. You find things like that in countries besides the US (and especially Japan), because they have smaller homes there.

wow...maybe the ovens or plastic wrap in japan are special

Some micowaves can double as conventional ovens.

You can't put foil in a microwave oven in north america. (toaster ovens yes, because they have an element)

wait a second, did she use that thing in the back as a microwave and toaster oven?!! At first she used it as a microwave to cook the sweet potato, an oven would have melted the plastic wrap. Then she used it to brown the sweet potato later, which a microwave can't do.
