這是選自2001年大獎賽的比賽片段，
2001年是中國女排新建的一年，
裡頭有許多很有潛力的新血，
楊昊、張靜、劉亞男、周蘇紅的入選，
都是當時新人中的翹楚。
想當初郎平四年帶隊雖然未能如願奪世界冠軍，
但畢竟成績輝煌（96、98兩次世界亞軍）。
而胡進二次入宮，基本上對球隊沒有什麼新突破，
反倒是歐美球隊因自由球員?生以及落地得分制的影響，
而且戰術打法上向亞洲靠?，
亞洲球隊便逐漸趨於弱勢，
於是，在亞洲球隊普遍成績下滑的情況之下，
逼迫當時的亞洲勁旅中、日、韓三強都在2001年做了一些調整。
例如：中國隊把已經打了滿多年且老傷不斷的老將大部分替換掉，
如筆者所最喜歡的孫?，到了奧運年根本無法下球，
這其實是換血時期的必經之路，
而日本採取折衷方式，幾名老將猶存，並開採有高度的新人，
而南韓則還是老面孔，如：第一次替南韓先發打主攻的崔光?，
也是在自由球員中混了好幾年才出線的。
於是，原本亞洲實力比較應為中國小勝南韓大勝日本，
（應該沒有人反對90年代的南韓隊是很纏人的隊伍?？）
如今成為：「中國亞洲獨霸，日本萬年老二，南韓不復輝煌」的局勢。
在01年，剛組建完成的中國女排除了?詠梅外是個全新的隊伍，
而01年，同樣也是剛組建的日本女排，
卻連連在瑞士女排精英賽、大獎賽香港站?敗中國隊，
面對這樣的成績，中國球迷更是一聲浪伐，
但不得不稱讚這時候的日本女排的確比中國女排更為?搏，
而老將的表現，成為安定軍心能?敗中國隊的利器。
這時候的日本隊走回傳統舉球員的路子，?棄攻?型二傳大貫美奈子，
?用身高只有一米五九但傳球技術?佳的竹下佳江，
中堅力量還有高橋美雪都已經在陣中，
比栗原好用好多倍的老將熊前芝加子也能適時為日本隊建功，
有潛力的新人大友愛、杉山祥子這時候都探了頭，
而左手的副位田中姿子也是一枚小猛砲（滿永一美就這樣不見了sigh...），
他跟高橋的跳發也讓人眼睛為之一亮。
反觀中國女排，高度提昇了很多，但出現許多不該出現的失誤，
當然，他們第一年打國際賽，這不需要怨尤他們，
當時馮坤舉球的合理性實在輸給還在當打之齡的?韻穎，
兩次中國隊攻?未能下球的原因出在馮坤舉得不太好，
一次不?出去，一次舉了一球又高又三角，但畢竟技術面都是可以磨合的，
於是到了02年以後，馮坤的效用就漸漸出現了。
（在用人上，還可以??當年馮坤跟?韻穎以及周蘇紅與邱愛華的抉擇）
在影片中，於亂球上，日本隊處理的有條有理，
即便是自己沒什麼機會攻?的情況下，靠精準的防守
且就是贏在比對方對小球更有把握，
而中國隊幾次攻?機會都是自己掌握的，
但是就是拿不下來，因此把這一分就奉送給熊前知加子的後排攻?。
