What mistake? The super by all means would have killed anybody who didn't parry it perfectly, which is pretty damn hard to pull off.

Keep in mind that Daigo had to tap forward in perfect time for EVERY STRIKE in Justin's combo (18 total). That takes a hell of a lot of control and composure with probably 1% health left.
