the two jerks below are giving people false hopes. The only way you can over rev an engine is by turning the engine by the rear wheel forcing it mechanically past the rev limit. That's what I've read about too. He and hide were always getting in trouble, white Toshi was a little genius :P And I've read many times that English was the only thing Yoshiki learned in school. His English is very good for a japanese, the accent, he must have learned since he was younger, because he already speak in the early days. You know, when you like something you force yourself to learn, maybe that's what happened with this trouble-kid. ^^

yeah. he is good at English because he is Yoshiki...hahaha. I think he has passion for his music and English ability is needed for that. In 1992,when X-japan debut in the America, Yoshiki studied English hard everyday. To study, even he didn't meet members!(Wow!) Wow! This song has been on my mind for the past few days and all this time I didn't realize it was by Joe Sample. All I remember is that Take 6 sung on it. I was a little kid when this song came out.

Fantastic song! I first heard and saw the vid years ago on BET or VH-1. ("BET Jazz" or "Jazz It Up on VH-1") Will someone tell me where I find the actual music vid w/ Joe and Take 6? I recorded it from TV onto VHS all those years ago and the quality isn't all that great and will only get worse with time/age. Thanks for sharing!

One of my all time favorites. I was listening to a Jazz station while in Miami, FL on vacation in 1989 and heard this and I just had to have it. Great release by Mr. Sample.

Yes, it is TAKE 6 doing the vocals for sure! I just put a comment on one of their videos and thought of this song. When I did a search for Joe Sample, I found this!! I LOVE THIS SONG! It has wonderful memories for me of New York and how God used this song to help me. GOD BLESS YOU SYLVETTE FOR POSTING THIS!!
