For those that are curious, as stated before this song was sung by him at a graduation for an all-girls school in Japan. If you get a chance to look at the lyrics (if you don't understand Japanese that is) it's actually a perfect song for that venue, as it is a song about wishing someone farewell and hoping to see or remember them again some day. Pretty much a perfect graduation song.

ずいぶん前から、合唱部の皆さんと収録している方とあわせて聴いています。
何度聴いても時が経っても、聴くたびに感動がこみ上げてきます。
二番からみんあで歌っていますが、薄く聞えてくる合唱部の素敵なコーラスがまた涙をそそる。あまりにも素敵すぎて、直太朗さんも感激が涙にあらわれたんですかね？

Yeah at first i thought it was luffy's father who rescued all the slaves at mariehjoa, but i guess i was wrong. Oh i do wish boa and luffy's father had a relationship at one point. I guess we'll know in the next issues. I'd love to know who is luffy's mother.

Yeah, and besides, when the vice-admiral who docked near amazon lily told her that she is to join in the fight with the rest of the shichibukai against the crew of whitebeard because in 1 week, ace will be executed, she had no reaction indicating that she cared for ace, so probably boa is not luffy's mother. I hope I'm wrong but i just wish that boa and dragon had a history together.

I think Kidd and Law beat the copy of Kuma that they faced (before going into the battle of Luffy's crew and the real Kuma) but I remember Kizaru (The admiral) saying something about going after Kidd and Law after he beat Luffy so, unless Rayleigh beat The Admiral, the giant Axe guy, and the real Kuma and got away in time, I think their gone.

i dont think Hancock will join the crew. IF she did....GREAT THATS REALLY AWESOME! theres more likely of a chance of MARGARET joining. I have nothing against her, but i just dont like women with short hair XDD No offence girls......its just the truth. she isn't that pretty compared to Robin and Nami... but if Hancock joined...WOW!!!

聴いた瞬間、宇崎竜童の作品ぽいと思ったらやっぱりそうだった。清水健太郎のハスキーな声によくあった、いい曲だと思う。若い頃の歌声も良いけど、年を取った今のシミケンの歌うこの曲もきいてみたいと思った。
