Not only for the income they may earn, but also the chances they can enjoy. Managing, Scouting, Playing, and Adopting those players lead great success of MLB. and he even pitched a no-hitter for boston in his first start of the season (in camden yards)! not to mention a 1 hit shutout in Boston and he led the AL in strikeouts and everything...well, that's the american news for you. slimey as ever. truth is nomo had to do a lot to have his career and Boston came after good seasons in Milwaukee and Detroit after surgery...nomo owns people need to know the real past...

lol sports illustrated (worst, slimiest example of american news) was talking shit on mr. nomo in their "Dice-K" article by saying something to the effect of he only won 13 in his first year in mlb with all the hype he "brought." he didn't bring any hype he had to earn it here in america and he did (think of Igawa now). the news is giving Daisuke the special treatment like they do for A-Rod and ppl who work for the east coast.
