I think, Mao and Yuna are wonderful skaters.
I love them both.
Please don't bashing if you really love figure skating.

Try to see the context within which my initial comments were made. I was responding to somebody elses comment on Maos flutz. (Gone are the days when there was a relatively clear distinction between lutz and flutz.) It is interesting that although you jumped into that dialogue about (f)lutz, you have been focusing on something else. Maybe we dont have much to talk about with each other. Lets stop here. My comments/responses will be reported as spam sooner or later anyway.

1. If my sentence doesnt sound to you like a prediction, do you really think I can decide the result of Asadas game? You might want to google Marxs notion of determination to clarify the confusion you seem to have. 2. I didnt mean to write an exhaustive review of Maos performance. But you are jumping to the conclusion that I am pointing out only Asadas drawbacks.

Thanks for your comments. I do know how difficult landing a 3A is and how talented Asada is. But what is oftentimes forgotten is that 3A is not the only thing in figure skating. Dont you think it is a pity that a wonderful 3A jumper like Asada has difficulty landing or executing a 3 salchow or a 3 toe, arguably the two easiest triple jumps? As you said, Asada is not Ito. But it surprises me that Asada often says her 3A is perfect (despite her pre- and under-rotation).

Ok. I respect your opinion. I also hope that Mao improve in terms of consistency (why not). But you are asking too much if you expect other skaters to do 3A as well as Midori did Besides, Mao's got many virtues which midori didn't have. IMo, those who complain about Mao's 3A just do not give enough credit to the skater who does land the difficult jump.

Oh yes, what a good example of how predictions are made indeed! Doesn't sound like something a person who is coming in to enjoy a program will say at all, really.
Gone are the days that a good performance receives praise. Instead it receives "it could be better" comments. Giving praise *and* noting parts to improve is one thing, *only* pointing at faults is another. w/e

I was sure that she would do a better job this time than that of her last competition, and she did it. It makes me happy that she got her confidence back and showed an improved program:)

1. i took yuna's loop as an example because clovera mentioned it. 2. landing a 3A may be important; but "how to" land it is also important. and i respect mao as a skater. it's just that i don't respect SOME of her jumps, 3A being one of them. compare ito midori's 3A and mao's.I think highly of the former, but not the latter. you've got every right to think differently.

two last things: 1. nobody can "decide" the result of her LP. however, as someone who has watched Mao for some time, i can offer my prediction. these are two different things. let's enjoy her LP first. 2. regarding idolatory, i believe constructive criticisms, rather than uncritical adoration, may help our talented skaters develop more and more over time. that's why i said mao has yet to polish some of her jumps.

Especially, Korean who speake ill of mao should get away here!!

I HONESTLY do. You see, this is Mao's SP, not her LP. And who are you to decide the outcome of an event that is yet to take place? :)
The previous comments make no sense either. If excessive adoration is preventing Mao from perfecting her artistry, shouldn't the problematic aspects be in that area? All you mention are issues with her jumps. *cough*
Call people laypersons all you want, but hardly anyone is a top level skater, judge, or coach anyway. Elitist much?

How can you compare consistency of a jump which many skaters can land and that of a jump which a few skaters have ever landed? You lack respect for the skater.

yuna's loop is no less consistent than mao's 3A. watch all the games from 2007 Grand Prix series. see how often mao succeeds and gets a plus goe's. and do you HONESTLY think i'm nitpicky? i didn't know there are ppl who think yuna's are textbook jumps. but it seems Mao needs to work on more jumps than yuna. e.g. 3 lutz, 3 salchow, 3 flip. you will see what i mean if you examine Mao's LP protocol in a few hours and analyze where her points are deducted . remember: good medicine tastes bitter.

And the exact same thing can be said about Yu-Na's "textbook" jumps despite her lack of a consistent triple loop. Or Sasha's shallow edges. This is youtube, not a figure skating forum. Do you HONESTLY believe fans who are happy for her can care less about nitpicking?
