Another reason why Japna is claimg that Dokdo is thieri territoy is due to lack of resources. Dokdo is filled with Marine resources and nature resources. it is temping to acquire the island since Japan is island Country and japan has lack of resources. Why Japan is doing something ridiculous and stupid thing like this that I will neve undersand. From my perspective, it is clear that Japan has not lost ambition to move in to mainland (China and Korea). Japan has tried to Since 14th century. Korea was inveaded by Japan in 1592 and fought Japan for 14 years. Japan Occupied Korea in 1910 and moved out Korea after losing to America in WW2.

So far Japan has not provided any informations that Dokdo is Japanese territory. However, Korea has found many informations from all around the world. Koreans have found that Europe maps and Russian map from 17th-18th Centuries indicate that Dokdo is the territoy of Korea and also indicate that East Sea is the right name instead of Japan sea.
